At ten years old, Raven Darkholme's life changed forever. By happenstance, she was foraging for food in the refrigerator belonging to someone who was different like her. Charles Xavier promised her that she would never be alone again. And she believed him.
For the next eighteen years, it was Charles and Raven together, through thick and thin. But upon discovering that there were others and the world was in trouble, things changed. Raven isn't sure about these changes and has doubts about her future.
Mystique is more or less the character from the end of X-Men: First Class with some elements from X-Men: Days of Future Past.
For threading purposes, she can be pre, during, and post X-Men: First Class. I might even dabble with some X-Men: Days of Future Past threads, but this character journal's personal canon is AU after X-Men: First Class.
